The topic of trans-genders has risen to become one of the most conversed about matter in the year of 2016. According to the Merriam Webster Dictionary; denoting or relating to a person whose self-identity does not conform unambiguously to conventional notions of male or female gender. In other words, an individual may be born as a male but feel as if they actually are meant to be a woman, and as it goes vice versa. The transgender people have begun to demand to be accommodated for and that is not virtuous. There has become an upheaval controversy with the transgender community trying to fight for their rights. States have modified a handful of places that supply public bathrooms, to have three bathrooms instead of just two. Certain colleges …show more content…

Transgenders choose to change their sex, and choose to want to become a man or woman. Science has proven that every individual goes through puberty at some point in their life, so one must deliberately change their features, simply because they just want to. The idea that society needs to change their traditional ways, because someone is not comfortable is just horrendous. Supplying transgender individuals with a third bathroom, because they can not make up their mind of what gender they consider their selves as is unacceptable, and a nuisance to society. All children to need feel safe at school, and just because a boy may identify himself as a girl, act like a girl, talk like a girl, it does not change the fact he is not a girl, he is a boy. Habitual students are not comfortable with the idea of having the opposite sex being in their bathroom, yet on the contrary, transgender children should not be accommodated for either. There has been too many cases of children wanting to change to their sex, and ending up regretting their decision because they felt as if they were not themselves anymore. No child should be allowed to be put in the position where they can decide to change their sex because the end result will leave them with regret and confusion. Everyone is entitled to be there own person. Everyone is also entitled to have the same equal rights. Nevertheless, certain individuals should not have special rights or be acclimatized for simply for the idea they are
