I will be writing an essay on the pros and cons of a traditional four year college degree versus attending a trade school. This topic has been discussed at length not only in academia but also in the everyday conversation. The opinions on the subject are as varied as the individuals discussing it. Both sides of the subject have valid and substantiated arguments, but I feel that trade school should be strongly encouraged in many cases based on the information I will provide. Many people may assume that attending trade school is less successful than going to community college. There are many misconceptions that an employer might prefer a college graduate over a trade school graduate.
