Today the debate about who the greatest quarterback of all time is a topic that’s on every football fan’s mind. While you may bring up names in this discussion, like Joe Montana, Terry Bradshaw, and John Elway, there is one name that overshadows all these great quarterbacks and his name is Tom Brady. It is important to know that Tom Brady delivers in crunch time, he is consistent, he has all the stats, wins a lot of games, and makes his teammates better around him. First of all, one important thing to know about Tom Brady, is that he delivers in crunch time. The one way that Tom Brady has delivered in crunch time, is by leading two game winning drives in Super Bowl XXXVI against the St Louis Rams, Super Bowl XXXVIII against the Carolina
Today I’m here to talk about how Tom Brady is a cheater. On February 1, 2015 super bowl XLIX was played. The game ended with the New England Patriates defeated the Seattle Seahawks 28-24. The balls used by the Patriates put in Tom Brady’s hands had been deflated prior to the game. The game was played in an over cast and rainy weather forecast. Where deflated balls would be easier to catch/throw.
Coaching any sport is much harder than it seems. There are some jobs that almost anyone with the right education can do. Coaching is definitely not one of those jobs. One can get educated on drawing X's and O's on a paper for decades and still might be far from being a successful coach. Of course knowledge of the sport is very important too but to be successful in a job like coaching, one has to dedicate himself to his job; his job has to be his life. This is the major reason even those who hate Patriots still respect Bill Belichick and agree that he had unique abilities that make him so successful. His exceptional intelligence, his ability to break down and exploit game film, his singular discipline and his almost unmatched work ethic makes him probably the best coach in the NFL today and even one of the best in the history of the NFL.
...games, and actually winning the Coach of the Year Award by the Associated Press (dallascowboys.org). His career, and accomplishments speak for themselves. Tom Landry was a great coach and player, whose leadership made him a hero, and a prestigious name in the football world.
The problem is, statistics do not determine the greatest NFL players of all-time, championship rings determine the greatest of all-time, and Manning only has two rings. Peyton Manning is the third greatest quarterback of all-time. You cannot ignore the countless records that Manning holds, which is why he is in the top five with only two championships ahead of the likes of Terry Bradshaw, Roger Staubach and John Elway. However, Tom Brady is the greatest quarterback of all-time, and there is no comparison between him and Manning. Second on the list is Joe Montana.
Joe Paterno has found a way to win in college football. More importantly, he has found a way to win and keep his morals and the morals of the University. Paterno could have retired two years ago, after he reached victory number 324.
Many think Tom Brady is a great quarterback. He has great statistics and has won many Super Bowls.
The quarterback (QB) is the undisputed on-field leader of a football team. As such, it is the QB that the team and the fans turn to with the game on the line. Some QB’s embrace the challenge and excel, others falter and fall on their faces. Joe Montana was a QB who embraced those moments and not only excelled, but excelled above all others.
...y would argue that no other quarterback will be able to ever match his level of success. Even though he was interested in other sports as a young boy, it is crystal clear that he was supposed to play football. At six feet five inches and 230 pounds, we can assume that he would be a formidable opponent in any sport; but looks don't count. Actions are what count, and Peyton has certainly delivered in that department.
“I'm a pretty good winner. I'm a terrible loser, and I rub it in pretty good when I win”-Tom Brady (brainyquote.com). Tom Brady is the New England Patriots starting quarterback, and without a doubt he is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. In fact without him the Patriots would have never even went to a Super Bowl. Now that the Patriots have the legendary Tom Brady on their team they went to six Super Bowls and even won four. However Tom Brady wasn't always as good as he is now he started from the bottom like everyone else.
I know that cheerleading is a sport. Have you ever got asked if you think that cheerleading is a sport or not. That is what I am going to tell you today. Cheerleading is just like football and basketball it is a game where you compete and get points. But with cheerleading it is not about throwing the ball accost a field or making a basket. It is about how well it is performed. To do good they have to prates a lot and they also have to have a lot of upper body mussel.
Everybody who thinks that Tom Brady isn’t the best Quarterback says that Tom Brady has Bill Belichick and Joe Montana had Jerry Rice. Well to oppose that Jerry Rice can play, and is known to be the best Wide Receiver that ever played in the NFL. Bill Belichick is known to be one of the best coaches that has ever coached, but he can’t play on the field with Tom Brady. Tom Brady was also the 199th pick in the 2000 NFL Draft, and was benched his senior year in the Playoffs. In his second season he went into a game when Drew Bledsoe got hit by Mo Lewis one of the Jets’ Linebackers’ and couldn’t come back into the game. Tom Brady then lead his team Super Bowl XXXVI that ended up in a victory. Brady is the only player to go to seven Super Bowls, and has been named MVP four out of the five times. With 11:06 left in the 4th quarter Brady threw to Randy Moss up the right sideline for his 50th touchdown pass which is the second most in regular season touchdown passes in NFL history. In that same season he only threw 8
As a result from extreme hard work and perseverance followed by an unmatchable drive to succeed, Donald J. Trump has earned the right to be known as a multi-billionaire, real estate icon, and President of the United States of America. Reflecting on his life, he has faced many challenges and overcame them all. What truly is amazing is the person Tim Tebow represents off the field. He is a devout Christian who works to spread his religion and give hope to those in need. Tebow has been involved with controversy that started in his days in high school, due to a law in Florida that allowed him to pick his high school. Tebow is possibly the only player to be under national scrutiny from his high school playing days through his career in the NFL both on and off the field. Most of this controversy is because of his faith and how he displayed it on field. The best way to describe him is to say that he is a polarizing person and player in the sense that people either love or hate him. Tim Tebow is, indeed, a great person and role model on the playing field as well as off of it.
Since the Patriots are an elite team they expect not only the best players, but the best players character wise and do not accept anyone who does not uphold the characteristics ideally exemplified by the team. This is why the New England Patriots are one of the top teams in the NFL, and have been for 15 years.
“Iguodala to Curry, back to Iguodala, up for the layup! Oh! Blocked by James! LeBron James with the rejection!” These were the words spoken by ESPN’s Mike Breen during Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals, describing one of the best defensive plays in NBA history. Hello, I am Steven Lai, and we are here today to celebrate LeBron James. We celebrate him because he is one of the greatest basketball players on the court and off the court.
