My thesis statement is that “water shortage is the most severe threat faced by the world today.” I strongly believe in my statement, there are numerous issues that our earth faces already but if the world had absolutely no supply of uncontaminated water, the world will cease to exist, individuals can only endure 3 days without water, imagine the world not being able to hydrate themselves. Water is a very important substance in our world and must be protected, made sustainable & uncontaminated. I shall state why I’ve agreed with my statement. By discussing main factors such as such as Climate Change, Sanitation & Water Pollution that all cause water scarcity.

Additionally, Water shortage is a major concern in our society today. Millions of people around the planet have restricted access to sanctioned water, predominantly those in third world countries. Our climate contains greenhouse gases which help regulate our climate, however, if there is more carbon dioxide adding to the atmosphere, our climate reacts thus becoming very warm. This will result in an unpredictable weather and completely random weather changes with extreme outcomes. Correspondingly, one unexpected heat wave can cause a considerable amount of heat applied to one location thus having a ramification of drought. Moreover, destroying the animals living habitat. Also, these random weathers forecasts can ignite lots of intense acidic rainfalls. This will lead to damaging effects such as increasing the rate of corrosion on a building and polluting any unpolluted source of water.
