Theodore Roosevelt was one of our most energetic leaders. He was the first president to care about our environment. He had a very good personality, he was colorful, witty, outspoken, and humane. He was also funny, smart, hardworking, and brave. As a child he was called “Teddie”, and as an adult called “Teddy” or “T.R”. He also got the nicknames “Trust Buster and Great Conservationist. His face is also on Mt. Rushmore. He had two wives, Edith Carow and Alice Lee. His religion was Dutch Reformed. Theodore Roosevelt was born on October 27,1858.
