Touching Spirit Bear (Continued) Finally it was time to go home. Cole had dreamed of this day many times, that dreadful day that he would have to fit back in to the world. “I can’t wait till I get to see mom again” Cole said “But I am not looking forward to try to fit back in” Cole could the muzzled sound of the boat that Edwin would arrive on. To take them of that island that Cole had spent a whole year on. Cole and peter sold back and admired Cole and Peter’s totem poles. That they had finished, they were super proud of it like it was supposed to be in a museum. Peter said “Let’s go soak one last time before we go”
Cole and peter whet to the pond and soaked. They had soaked so many times that that they just jumped in the pond with a splash. As they carried the ancestor rock up the hill they paused in their tracks. Less than 6 feet away was the spirit bear. But something was different about the bear, it had open wounds and blood on its white fur. Peter and Cole just stood there in that same position with the big ancestor rock behind them. The Spirit bear was so still that it amazed them so much that it scared them. At once they inched backwards down that hill.
They then got in the boat and Edwin started it up and backed up from the bay. On the way home the two boys told the story of the bear and how it was all coved in blood. They all tried to think about what had happened to that

    I really don’t understand the scene when Cole burnt all the supplies he was given, to stay on the island. Cole was mad in this scene and poured gasoline all over his supplies and lit a match and all the supplies burnt up. I don't understand this because I don't know why you would burn the things that are meant to help you stay alive. When Cole stated “ You don’t get it do you?
