We all grew up being told by our parents that lying is bad and that we should never do it. But everybody lies from time to time, whether they like to admit it or qnot. Lies are rarely told without a purpose, while some people just say that lying is bad, it is something that you should never do it, but they never look deeper into it. What if you had to lie to protect someone you love? What if you had to lie to protect yourself? Those are the questions that these people often don’t consider. For example what if you were living in world war 2 and had to lie to save your or your friends life or you don’t tell your dad a dragic thing that happened because he has a weak heart and might die of the stress so you say that everything is fine.

For example : If you were eating to much ice cream as a kid, as a mom your job is to protect your child, so she might tell you that there is no more ice cream to protect your health. These types of lies are lies that are told to change yourself or change an action for someones own good, mostly used by parents discipling your kids, and of course one of them is telling you to not lie, even though they do it to you call the time to you. According to According to Paul Gray in “The U.S. Political Campaign: Lies, Lies, Lies” (Excerpt) Lies to protect others, or “I love your dress.” Most “little white lies” belong here, well-intentioned deceptions designed to grease the gears of society. In this context, people want to be fooled. This could also escalate to the parent examples. Some people may argue that people should learn the truth and hard way and that they should learn the truth and hard way, but that could be hard for little kids and when they grew up they would be happy that they got told these harmless lines to make them a better person. These lies might have made people made at the moment but in the future they will appreciate the lies that shaped them and made them who they are
