I recently read the book “The Tales from the Thousand One Nights’ by N.J. Dawood. I was immediately captivated by the prolog and consequently became invested in the well-being of the characters and the outcome of the story. The frame story is intriguing and well-constructed as it allows an easy transition from one tale to the next.
