“Don’t forget”. “Don’t forget what?”, Dan said to Dan with a smile.
For almost a decade these two have been sharing smiles with each other, but now have something fantastic to smile about, their second and first full band CD entitled “Don’t Forget”. The two polar opposites sat straight legged and cool on the leather couch. As an Italian guy and an Englishman respectively, the two band together to bring you some of the best up and coming bluegrass in the state and country. Soon after recording and producing their own album, “String Fingers” became “The String Fingers Band”, with the addition of Ryan McAdams (stand-up bass), David Kaye (banjo, dobro, steel pedal) and Rob Bonnacorso (drums and percussion). “If the other three were here with us right now they would tell you that this is the finest group of musicians that any of us have had a chance to play with. For some reason it just all falls into place, and tells us we should keep at this thing,” said Carlucci. The three new members all bring something interesting to the table; Rob is the Rock and Roller, Ryan brings in the jazz aspect and David who brings the newest sound to this melting pot of music, supplies the steel country guitar. "I have played with many bands before, but the consistency of the String Fingers' musical drive is what makes the difference for me" said Tressler. "I have never had so much fun and success than co-writing music with Dan Carlucci. They also find themselves playing gigs in Boston, Burlington, and all around the upper east coast. They recently have been booked to play at Nectars Restaurant, a music hot spot in Burlington, Vermont. Nectars is the Toads Place of the north if you will, and famous American rock band Phish got their start there. Kung Fu another local band from the Fairfield County area has also been booked to play there, proving that the community is cranking out some great music.
After meeting up with Rob Bonaccorso at Cranbury Park in Wilton, he had this to say amongst the amazing scenery, “Its beautiful music. It’s the most beautiful music you can play, and it’s so fun.
