Indeed, a survey by the Pew Research Center shows from an interview among 1,375 Latinos, 21% consider skin color the biggest cause of discrimination. The physical prejudices are becoming a major issue in the American society, from common citizens to public workers, discrimination made by physical features is increasing. In fact, a new Arizona law authorizes police to check the immigration status if someone seems to be an illegal suspect. Which do you think is the impact of this law in society? Don't you think people will be more likely to call the police to chek on their "illegal" neighbors just because they look Hispanic?
