Just ahead of their summer tour, The Smashing Pumpkins reunion has begun how very few may have expected. Although the he said, she said feud between lead singer/guitarist Billy Corgan and original bass player D'Arcy Wretzky continues, the band has moved on and now have a new single out entitled, "Solara." "Solara" is the first recording for The Pumpkins in over 18 years. Yet, they maintained if not elevated their nostalgic sound. Founding members Billy Corgan, James Iha, and Jimmy Chamberlin recorded in Malibu, California at Shangri La Studios with famous producer Rick Rubin and can't forget longtime Smashing Pumpkins guitarist Jeff Schroeder.
