Design is crucial to any webpage you create. Without effective design, it doesn’t matter how good your logic is or how many different things you can do with it. The user does not care whether or not you put your life into that webpage. If it doesn’t do what they want and make it easy to do, the user will find another that meets their needs or desires. As superficial as it may seem, a user cares most about what’s on the surface of your webpage. Maybe your webpage is faster or does things smarter than somebody else’s, but if their design is better, people are going to prefer theirs over yours. A good design is comprised of many different elements. A key aspect of which is color choice. However, even more important than color when making a successful webpage is the user’s patience.
Color is what makes what you create interesting to others. A webpage is no different. If you design a webpage with lots of color will draw in and hold many users much more than a black and white webpage. Chances are the webpage is a marketing tool that you want to make as effective as possible (Verma). If your webpage has no color, it will be significantly less effective. This is why large companies will invest massive amounts of money determining the most profitable colors for their product or service (Verma). Ineffective colors will deter users. When they visit your webpage, they are expecting a nice looking, clean look. Color plays a major role in this because if you put the wrong colors together, it can look very displeasing to the user and the likelihood of them returning has just been dropped.
The fastest way to give a user a sense of confidence in what your webpage represents is to use effective colors. Different colors should be u...

...ferent things will determine if a website is successful or not. Two key things to keep in mind when designing a website is color, and the user. Choose colors that are appropriate and accurate to what you are trying to portray. Beyond color, you must design your website so that the user has the easiest, least time consuming, most pleasant experience they can. Chances are, they found your website on a search engine when looking for a particular service or product (Boswell). That means that a lot of other results came up too, meaning that if the user doesn’t like your website for any reason, there are a lot of other options. They are the ones who put food in your mouth as a web developer. If you don’t make them want to give you money or visit your website, you may or may not eat for any given amount of time. Make your design inviting and pleasant for your users.
I agree with this statement because color is important and the color makes the picture brighter. When you color with different colors you can see the different lines of the paint that you couldn’t see before or that was hard to see without the paint. Some of the sculptures already have color in them when the artist is done making them. Like in the picture there is some white and black in the sculpture. But if the artist would but some color to the face it would show the lips, eyes, and nose a lot better. Also the color in the sculpture will make it stand out and I like to use color when I am coloring or when I am painting something because it brightens up my mood and it makes it look prettier I think. Some people just like the color black and white because they like the natural. They might also like it because it will look better on that one
Web sites are just like magazines, newspapers, brochures, menus, or even directions on how to make nitroglycerin from house-hold goods, in that they all have to be put together in such a manner that whoever is reading or browsing over it will be able to clearly distinguish this from that. In this sense, a critique of any particular web site will have justification, while carefully considering also that this is an altogether new medium of information exchange. Now, all of this talk of togetherness is actually a general reference to basic design principles, such as color coordination, if color is used, text size, font choice/ style, art integration, accessibility, and just plain and simple design of the page. For example, it wouldn't be all that appealing to the eyeball if a page being viewed had all the text jumbled up in a corner, so small your eyes were bleeding by the time you figured out that it wasn't even worth the trouble. Darn. It's important to rememeber, especially these days, that what you read is as important as how it looks. Have you ever tried reading an interview in a Raygun magazine? Kinda hard, right? Design totally for its own sake is nice, as art that is, and admittedly it looks cool. However, it's two in the morning and you're standing in line at the corner 7-11 trying to pay for your 40 ounce bottle of Kool-Aid, and you happen to see that your favorite MTV Pearl Crap-clone band is on the cover of this hip magazine and you go to read it, but you can't. It's not because to you failed elementary school three times in two years, but because the maestro in charge decided to get fancy with it and thought it'd be cool if he hid the text under a black box or likewise photograph. ...ecting a wide range of design styles and contents” (Denise Agosto, p.258). This is important to keep in mind when creating a website. Cites need to be able to appeal to a large range of groups and personalities. When this is done websites will have the most success.
Part of the website’s visual appeal is the color scheme. The background for the website is white making it easier for the audience to focus on the important information such as the contact information and resources, which is accentuated with purple ribbons and text. The purple is

Next is in terms of the design and aesthetics. Layout that being used for this website is a plain white which easier people to read the text that is in black, in contrast and suitable for the concept of showroom online. The font is also suits which is not too big and not too small to be read by people. To highlight the main subject or the main product, the font is being bold to alert customers that they choose the right one. There is no audio available for this website or even a video. But somehow, as it was a home furnishing website, most of the pictures being used by the website is in JPEG format to deliver a clear view of the products to customers.
The graphic design on your website should reflect the intentions of your business and what your brand stands for. If you have not taken the time and effort to create a decent graphic design, it will convey to your customers that you do not take much pride in the perception and reputation of your customers. In your final analysis of the site, it is important to remember that all web sites are a work in progress. Websites are never “under construction”; they are living breathing documents that require constant attention. Taking on a site as webmaster is a great responsibility that requires a decent amount of time. Web sites can be anywhere between a simple blog or a complex e-commerce site, but they all require the same maintenance and marketing strategies to make them popular. Web design should always be a high priority should you wish to present a visually pleasing and professional image, so don’t take the appearance of your website lightly.
HTML used several different types of entities such as attributes, character references, data types and attributes to format a web page. Web pages are created using elements called tags. Tags are predefined by HTML and tags are used to define how a web page will be presented in a browser and control such things as background color, font size, type and color. Tags are also used to insert links into a web page allowing the user to visit specified pages on different web sites or different pages within the same website. Tags also allow a designer to include various media presentations such as photos, music and video files.
The most important task of developing and designing a web page is the gathering of information. You first need to brainstorm about what you would like the web page to consist of. Collect everything that you want to become part of the web page, from editorials and graphics to company information and history. It may be a good idea to get your hands on as much data as possible, and then decide what is to be used in the web page. Whatever material that you do not used may be discarded later. All information previously gathered is categorized in a hierarchy form from the most important to the least important.
