When I get older I want to be a CNA. CNA stands for Certified Nursing Assistants. I love old people. Hands on healthcare to patients in medical settings are included in this job. As the population ages, demand for round the clock personal services is on the upswing. How big a paycheck can you expect to earn as a certified nursing assistant? The BLS estimates a median income of $25,090 for CNAs in its 2016-17 Occupational Outlook Handbook. But your earnings will vary according to where you live; the BLS found that the top 10 percent of nursing assistants earned more than $36,000. By taking on more training, CNAs can move into higher-paying roles as licensed practical nurses or registered nurses.
Pros and Cons are I would have to bathe the patients which would be little gross to me but i would have to do it. I would also have to help change the patients to and i would have to change their beds and there diapers if you don't know how to go to the bathroom on themselves. I would get to spend time with old people which would be amazing because I love old people. The sad thing is i would have to make sure i don't get to emotional when they pass away which would be super hard and super sad. I am interested in this because my aunt does stuff like this and i want to do it
