Ponyboy is one of the smartest kids in his school In the book The Outsiders By S.E Hinton. He is also an artistic loving a caring person. You don't want to go against him in a spelling bee. To begin, Ponyboy Curtis is a very artistic Greaser. This trait can be seen when Ponyboy is getting home the church and having bad dreams, and he has a flashback from when the doctor told him he has too much imagination.”The doctor said I have too much imagination”(118). It shows that he has a good imagination. Also, It shows that he can use his head because most people aren't that creative at the age. This trait can also be seen when his teacher said if he will write a paper about something in his life he would pass.
