Once upon a time, William Kamkwamba was a poor farmer in Malawi, but now he made a life for himself as an innovator that gained fame through his change in life. In life, change happens because different events occur. Some of those alterations are for the better. However, many of them turn out for the worse. In the story “The Most Dangerous Game” by Richard Connel, the theme demonstrates change happens for the better or worse.
First of all, change happens because sources, mainly people, set the events to make the change happens. For example, desire allows change to occur. This is shown when Zaroff “had no wish to go to pieces.” (Page 6). Due to the fact that Zaroff did not want to grow insane with longing for the experience, he changed how he hunted and began to poach humans. Also, Rainsford’s position changed when he sank and grunted“ a short, hoarse cry came from his lips as he realized he had reached too far and had lost his balance. An example of a bad event is that one would grow worse morally, which happened to Rainsford when he decided “he had never slept in a better bed” (Page 15). Also, tragedies occur from events that happen. Due to the fact that Rainsford decide to murder Zaroff, Zaroff had to lose his life. When Rainsford plungedinto the sea, “a short, hoarse cry came from his lips as he realized he had reached too far and had lost his balance. The cry was pinched off short as the blood-warm waters of the Caribbean Sea dosed over his head.” (page 1), which meant the whole crew died for Zaroff’s decision to down the ship. After Rainsford shot the knife at his assaulters, “General Zaroff was still on his feet. But Ivan was not.” (page 14), which meant that Ivan died. Due to the fact that Zaroff decided to pursue Rainsford, one can conclude that Zaroff’s greed killed off Ivan with the help of Rainsford. In the world, bad events
