Favorite Character: Leo from The Little Einsteins
When I was younger, I loved to watch the show The Little Einsteins with my best friend. My favorite character was Leo, because he was the leader. He had fiery red hair, glistening green eyes, and big, green, round frame eyeglasses. He was the pilot of Rocket, who was the Einstein's friend and form of transportation. Rocket could change into any form of transportation that they needed. Leo had three other best friends to ride on Rocket with him. They were Annie, Quincy, and June. They all had different hobbies such as music and dance.
I felt that I connected the most with Leo throughout the series. He taught me the importance of friendship, and to follow my dreams. Watching the show sparked

In The Other Wes Moore, the author and a neighbor have the same name, Wes Moore, and they both begin their lives in similar ways. However, as their lives progress, they begin to part. For example, both “lost” their fathers when they were young. Because of the way their mothers respond to this loss, the boys’ lives begin to separate. Both mothers have different responses to challenges in general, which eventually leads them to respond to their child’s actions in contrasting ways. Throughout this novel, readers learn that depending on how a mother decides to react to the negative actions of their child’s actions, the child can either lead a successful life or lead a life of failure.

Julius Caesar is mentioned throughout the book, A Long Way Gone, many times. A tragic character is someone who experiences misfortune in courtesy of poor judgment, fate or a conflicted personality. In the tragedy, Antigone, there is a heavy debate over whether Antigone or Creon is the tragic character. Creon can be classified as the tragic character of the play because he has been affected the most due to his decision of sentencing Antigone to death. For instance, a fight emerges between the king and his son, Haimon, as a result of his harsh punishment. Also, he lets his pride get in the way which triggers the suicide of Haimon and his wife, Eurydice. By the end of the tragedy, Creon is forced to live through the painful death of his family, thus being the tragic character because he suffered the most.
