What if only women's sports were on TV rather then men's sports? Some people think about this and know it would never happen, but a few wish it could. A lot of people would rather like to see women's sports on TV because they should have as much equal time as men's sports. Still others want only men's athletic sports on TV and not women's. Women work just as hard as men so they should have the opportunity to show how good they are. Because there are just as many women's teams as men's teams in sports, and women's sports are just as exciting to watch, and women's sports teams should get equal treatment, these sports should be on television just as often as men's teams. Spreading for women and girls around the world many like to watch men's sports sometimes but many love watching women's sports even more because they are not on TV as often. For example, many people like to watch the Minnesota Gophers fast pitch games. A lot of families love to watch fast pitch, basketball, and other sports that involve women. Some love watching them because their children or someone they know play those sports. Many teenagers and kids like to be able to see our role models playing. Not much airtime is given to women's sports. "In examining 934 sports segments from 2014, researchers found only 32 segments were on women's sports..." ("TV Ignores Women's Sports..."). Women have had to do many significant events over the course of the years. For example, The Women’s Rights Movement included women having to fight for their position in congress. Women's sports could become invisible in a short period of time. "If the likes of the EA Sports keeps this up, the women's game will become more and more mainstream each consecutive year..." ("Entrepreneurs Take Note"). This shows that in just a couple years, women's sports could potentially not be aired on TV anymore. Some think that even though women are normally not as strong as men can be, women still deserve to be treated the same. Women have worked for centuries to become independent
