Technology has improved not only society but it has also made businesses more successful and made more jobs. The company Apple makes its own devices by hand and is made in China. The Unified School Districts are putting educational tools on these devices for the students to learn from. These devices are showing the future generations that they can do more with technology and can improve technology. Technology is always improving and getting better every day it is also saving paper and not making students carry so many books to school and home. This can assist students and employees to research what they need to know and get more information. In Riverside California Ramona High School stated giving out tablets instead of books in 2012. This helped the students access the books that were online and the school was given Wi-Fi throughout the whole campus. By giving theses to the students and staff the District was able to see how well the students were doing in the classes and see how well the technology was working and what needed to be improved on the technology. I personally was attending Ramona High School when the technology was checked out. The technology was useful and helped the students prepare for what is coming for the future. Having this kind of technology was a great experience and made checking grades and assignments much easier to do. As previously stated, the most important and valuable technology in my life is my laptop computer. I do check in regularly and respond to my email and any online classes I might have usually, several times daily. Technology is controlled for me by my own choice. I don’t have an iPhone, but I do have a cell phone that one of my grandchildren refers to as “embarrassing.” It’s a “pay as you go” phone that has big buttons that I can actually see! It does not take pictures and it doesn’t have internet capability. I do have a Facebook account, but I don’t care to check into it constantly and I don’t choose to have people tracking me down while I’m in the midst of working, or I’m at an appointment, etc. My cell phone isn’t used to chat endlessly
