In this modern world, which stresses increase rapidly, sleep plays an important part in your life. It helps us maintain our mental & physical health, production and safety. Each of us spends about one-third of the life time as sleep, which means if you live to 75 years old, you spend 25 years for sleeping. However, many people said that it was wasting time just to sleep while there many things in their “to do” list had to finish. If you do not have a good quality sleep, the proportion of accident can be raising (such as car crash). So, sleep considerably influence your mental & physical health and having a good quality sleep also can improve help you improve yourself.
Basically, your body helps maintain healthy brain function during your sleep.
Moreover, if children and teenager are not sleeping at the right time, they will get trouble with getting along with others. Children easily get angry, sensitive with most things around them such as sounds, fell depressed, or lack motivation. They are also facing with how hard they can pay attention on lesson; they usually fell stress and get lower points in school (‘Why Is Sleep Important?’). Furthermore, if you do not sleep at the right time or sleep in the morning instead of night, you usually have a headache or difficult to focus on work and study. The causes of those things are our brain consumes more oxygen than normal when you do not sleep in the morning. If continue to sleep in the morning, it will gain our stress, reduce our memory and auditory organ. In addition, lack of sleep will lead to micro sleep and it will affect your function. For instance, when your drive to somewhere but you cannot remember part of the trip or while you are listen to lecture, you will miss some part of the lesson and you feel like that lecture is very hard to
Insufficient sleep leads too many diseases such as cardiovascular disease; reduce immune function, obesity and diabetes.
+ Cardiovascular disease: Sleep less than the average that expert recommend, even rarely reduced the time of sleep (6 to 7 per day), are greatly increased the risk of heart attack and mortality by heart disease.
