“What do you think integrity means?” I think that integrity means is having the ability to be caring, honest, and kind to everyone. Integrity applies to my life in many ways and in different places, such as school. During school there is both integrity and dishonesty around me at all time. Not only is this ability affecting my life now, but also it is going to affect my life in the future.
Integrity applies to me in school by allowing me to succeed in a certain subject every day. This ability prevents me from cheating on tests, homework, or any other work that teachers assign me. Integrity is involved in my life now at school, home, and the world around me. At school I am expected to be honest, as well as in my house. For example, I would not lie towards my whereabouts, and whether I have done the things that I was told to do. In the world around my today integrity is shown as the way that I treat people. In the future integrity would apply to me in these same ways, but instead of school it would be work. In the future integrity would apply to me in my house by the way that I would treat my family. Unlike the present in the future I would have a husband and children living with me, and not my parent and siblings. With integrity I am expected to treat my husband and children the same way that I treat my parents and siblings. For example, I should treat them with care, honesty, respect, and love. In the future I would be introduced to a new crowd of people. Instead of just being around the few people that I am normally used to, I would be around people who belong to cultures that I am not used to. Since I would be around different people I would be kind to them. For example, I can meet a person who would have strange methods of doing something, but that does not mean that I should be rude to the person.
