The United Arab Emirates is traditionally well-known for its attachments to camel, they are also known as one of the iconic symbols in the culture of the UAE. Camels have played a significant role in the lives of the Emirati people for centuries, and they are also known as one the very few animals that are able to survive through harsh conditions in the desert. In the past, the Bedouins or the nomads were mostly dependent on camels for their essential needs. However, camels still play an important role in the society of the UAE, with many Bedouins still owning and using for their daily life. Why camels are called the ships of the desert? Camels are named as the ships of the desert, because they have always been valued as a mode of transport. The camel has provided as a means of transport across the desert. Camels are known for being able to survive for several days without water. That being said, it is not commonly known that there are thought to be nine subspecies of Giraffa camelopardalis. In fact, there is increasing evidence that these could potentially be separate species in their own right. This paper will discuss where giraffes fit in the Tree of Life and identify the giraffe’s closest relatives, differentiate and analyze the similarities and differences between the nine subspecies, and, finally, explore any debate revolving around the phylogeny of the subspecies.

The Sahara desert is known as the largest dessert in the world, it covers a third of the continent of Africa. The thing about the desert is that it is always changing, new vegetation is sprouting and animals are dying and being born. During the day the desert is very hot, about 50 degrees Celsius, but at night time temperatures can drop very low. In the night is when the desert rains, for temperatures are too hot during the day for clouds to accumulate above them, and water is limited so there isn’t much precipitation.

In Ancient Egypt they use the Nile River and the Sahara Desert in some many ways that benefited them. Ancient Egypt was divided into two land different land, the black land and red land. The black land was the fertile land that the Nile River made and the red land was the desert of Egypt. They use the Nile River for the fertile soil that was left after the river was not flooded, so that they could use that fertile soil for growing crops. They would also use the Nile River for fishing, washing their clothes, and sometimes they would trade with others for resources that they needed. There are many different variations commonly based on a particular individual’s country of origin such as Arab Americans.
