Elementary school is a very vital part in the growth of young minds. It is the place in which the mind first begins to develop skills and habits that will remain with people for the rest of their lives. If I could teach elementary school students one lesson, I would teach them how to be kind to others. Being kind to others will assist elementary students throughout every stage of life, therefore, making it a meaningful lesson. I would like to teach them this lesson because being kind to others always works in your favor. Being kind keeps people out of trouble, helps them make friends that come in handy later, and helps them understand one another. Moreover, I feel that teaching elementary students to be kind would be a very beneficial experience. The main reason people get in trouble is their lack of kindness. Those who get into trouble do not fully understand the concept of being kind to all. If you teach these people to be kind to one another when they are young, their minds will grow and develop with thoughts of kindness and care. Being kind keeps people out of trouble because when people are kind and calm, they minimize the risk of escalating a situation and making life harder for themselves and others.
