Everyone knows what a ban is used for. Whether for good reasons or bad, bans are meant to stop a group of people or civilization from doing something that is not liked by another. Various bans throughout human existence has included bans on books, arts, even religions. But the ban I would like to discuss is a bit more recent, and would have affected a lot of people if it would have stayed. In 2012, the New York City mayor by the name of Michael Bloomberg put in place a ban on sodas over sixteen ounces, hoping to reduce the obesity in New York City.
