This is a series of lyrics from Beyoncé’s song Flawless. This quote is important because I feel this pressure when I am supposed to talk about ‘a rich and fulfilling life’. I almost feel obligated to mention ‘a family’ as one of my requirements to a rich and fulfilling life. As a woman, society expects me to mention children and a husband to complete my life. A rich and fulfilling life to me needs mutually supportive relationships. Support from good friends can help one overcome many difficult situations. Personally I think a good support system is key in life. I have a bestfriend named Nina. I have known Nina for seven years, and I could not trust a person more. She knows my family background and she has been there through all of the good and bad times with me; as I have to her. We give each other honest advice, even if it is not the easiest to tell. I love her like a sister and I don 't know If I would be the same person, had I not met her. Nina knows I have bad anxiety, and some days when it builds real high I give her a call. She reassures me things will work out in time. Sometimes she will give me an example of a time I freaked out over something that was resolved quite easily. Nina always reminds me to remain level headed because there are little reason to get upset about. My favorite authors have written extremely personal books about their own lives and experiences. One of my favorite authors, Nic Sheff, writes about his experiences through addiction, and the recovery process. His father,my other favorite author, David Sheff, also writes about addiction; but in the prospect of an outsider who has a loved one go through it. They don 't know but the books they wrote helped me grow so much as a person. It gave me closure to see different perspectives. Their books were completely raw, there were no parts that were sugarcoated about addiction. I have a pretty good story to tell and I know I could change some people 's lives if I shared it. I would want to start the book once I am settled into my career. So I can have a couple different perspectives of my own in the book, maybe share views of how I thought the job would be. And the after comparison of how it turned out. Another legacy I am seriously considering is trying to establish my own organization. I am already really active within my community. I have over 300 hours of community service and it has not stopped there. I think giving back is very important in life because some of us have been very blessed while others have suffered hard inimaginable lives.
