Let’s be real, we’ve all had dreams of being rich. Growing up in the 2000’s, I was lucky to get introduced to the World Wide Web: a place where people who know about business go to sell their goods or services and become millionaires. Fast forward eighteen years later, and some of the start-ups of the early 2000’s are now worth billions of dollars. Take Jeff Bezos’ Amazon Book Selling Company for example, or Elon Musk’s PayPal. The internet is still a good way to grow a business and potentially make a lot of money, if you know the “how to” that is. Top creators like Tom from Myspace or Zack Zuckerberg from Facebook inspired me to start an internet business. Being that I was fifteen at the time, I could only do so much. Nevertheless, my rebellious attitude drove me to naively start selling things on eBay. It was the most dare devilish thing that I’d done thus far. I was clueless as to why they needed my social security, but I was willing to do anything for money. After all the typing my trembling hands had done, and feeling scared that someone might come after my me, I worked up the courage and posted my first item: a tank top that I’d won on a Twitter contest.
