The Forbidden City is an architectural amazement built between the years 1406 to 1420 because an emporer form the Ming Dynasty orderd it to be built. The Forbidden City was home to twenty-four emperors, fourteen emperors from the Ming dynasty and ten from the Qin dynasty. This palace is the biggest ancient place with nine hundred eighty buildings covering approximately one hundred eighty acres. The Forbidden City is actually a palace for the emperor, his family, his court, and his servants and soldiers. Not a single ordinary person was ever allowed inside the palace complex thus the name, Forbidden City. This palace was built about six-hundred years ago.
