It is a common occurrence for high school students in their senior year to experience a decline in motivation or performance, otherwise known as ‘senioritis.’ When this happens, students become lax; they neglect their homework, turn in papers late, and just lose effort in general. Most seniors still end up graduating, but only to receive a rude awakening once they enter college. In the documentary, ”The Expos 5,” a first hand look is given into how new college students learn to navigate the difficulty of expository writing. Arpan, of course, taught me not to procrastinate, and Jen taught me to take classes seriously in order to pass. As Nneka said, “You should just do the work,” and as Michael said, ”You shouldn’t waste your time.” With all of the lessons that I’ve learned, prospects for both now and my future look much
