Disney World: Magic Kingdom
The purpose of Walt Disney World is for people to go and have a fun and magical experience for their families. Disney World and the characters have given so many people happiness in the world. There are people that come from all around the world not only to see all the characters and ride the rides, but also for the food and to see the entertainment. People come to Disney World because it is the most magical place in the world. People’s dreams and imagination will always come true at Disney World.

A red carpet is rolled out for visitors that come in and out to make them feel very special. Cinderella’s castle is something most people would love to see at least once in their life. Seeing the beautiful castle light up at night with all different colors has fireworks explode through the air is such a magical experience. Mickey Mouse is set front and center for all of Disney World to see. Millions and millions of people walk through the gates of Magic Kingdom jumping for joy because they cannot wait to see their favorite Disney character. Adventure Land is a paradise for children. It is made of many foreign lands that represent Africa, Asia and South America. The purpose of Adventure Land is to give people an idea of what some other foreign countries are like. A Caribbean town square has been built into the same area to give a tropical feel to the area. In this area are rides like the Pirates of Caribbean, Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse, and the Jungle Cruise. Frontierland was built in significance of the Wild West and the Rivers of America. This place looks like the Rocky Mountains and has railroads. It has rides such as the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Splash Mountain, and Tom Sawyer Island. Fantasyland is a popular place for children. Fantasyland has rides like Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Snow White’s Scary Adventures, Cinderella’s Golden Carrousel, and the Mad Tea Party. This area is where one will see younger kid’s hearts fill with joy because so many of their dreams are coming
The idealistic childhood memory every child thinks back to is their first trip to Disney World, “The Happiest Place on Earth, “according to Walt Disney. The ideal place where everything is magical and fairytales do exist. Disney World has become America’s most popular attraction since 1923. Whether it’s through one of Disney’s theme park, 227 radio stations, six motion studio pictures, three cruise lines, or its theatrical production companies, Disney Corporations culture monopoly has gone unnoticed by Americans. Americans are indulged by Disney’s childhood fantasies with the image every princess has a prince, and will live happily ever after in a magic kingdom. Although it all seems innocent Disney’s Corporation has America indulged with its theme parks, merchandise, films, and cruise lines.

Walt Disney has brought two theme parks to life because of his imagination. He never stopped chasing his dreams, even if they seemed impossible. Walt Disney World came after Disneyland and it is located in Florida. Disney World is known to be the "most magical place on earth" and the place "where dreams come true". Many people haven't been to the park, so they might be skeptical of the "magic" that is held within. It became internationally famous, and there were millions of visitors globally, coming to the “Golden State”, to witness the magic. Upon the opening of Disneyland, CA, the WDS decided to move their studios to a newer, bigger building in Burbank, California. New attractions were added regularly to Disneyland, and at least one part of the theme park was always closed for construction. Walt said that Disneyland would never be completed, as long as there was still imagination in the world for the studios to use as inspiration. A couple major attractions added were, the Star Tours, Splash Mountain, The Grand Floridian Beach, the Caribbean Beach Resorts, Typhoon Lagoon, Pleasure Island, and more. About 16 years later, a whole new bigger amusement theme park emerged by the name of Walt Disney World in Walt’s honor; 1971. Disney World was a theme resort in Orlando, Florida, where families could stay for days, and experience the fun attractions. It was bigger and had four main theme parks within its 25,000 acres. The main park is the central part of the park, The Magic Kingdom; 107. It contains a dining area, and a huge castle in the exact middle of the whole Disney World. Ever since I was a child, my family and I have been Disney fanatics. The Disney empire has created many amazing places, but my favorite location to visit is the Walt Disney World Resort. Every day 50,000 people from all over the world arrive at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida to experience the magic. When the park first opened its gates in 1971, 10,000 visitors made their way through. That number has multiplied five-fold and continues to multiply to this day. Since the 1971 opening, over 600 million people have experienced the magic of Disney. In my lifetime, I have visited the park with my family and friends six times. Each visit lasted four days in order to experience all the parks and their unique offerings. When I’m in Disney World, the experience each time is incredible.

The ride offers information about the animals being seen up close and personal. Rafiki’s Planet Watch features a train ride to learn about the environment, conservation, and the animals well being. The Main Street station, is the curtains to a large production as if the Magic Kingdom was a theater. As I wander beneath the archway, I notice that above the arch is a plaque that reads: “Here you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy”. As I continue to stroll through the passage on the way to Main Street, there are posters of “upcoming attractions” that line the walls on both sides. I then step into Main Street U.S.A. and begin to hear the Victorian style orchestra playing over the speakers. I notice some Disney pals in Town Square greeting guests as if they were old friends. Then I begin to travel further down the street, and the smell of the caramel apples, chocolate chip cookies, and other sweets walk out of the open doors of the bakery and into the street. The second I stepped foot onto the amusement park’s property, I could feel the magic swirling all around me. As I walked through the crowds of people young and old wearing Disney apparel and Mickey Mouse ears, everything seemed so enchanting: the cheerful music, the twinkly lights on all of the buildings, and the stores that could have been from my favorite Disney movies. Walking along the streets, I took pictures of everything around me because I did not want to forget a single detail; I took pictures of the vibrant yellow, red, and pink flowers that lined the streets, the buildings with intricate details and designs, and the massive roller coasters that glided so swiftly on their tracks.
