Daredevil is a series that has a typical silly radioactive origin story, which is what we see in the first episode. The story begin as a little boy, Matt Murdock pushes a man out of the way of a careering truck and ends up with some weird and mysterious chemicals, that splashed in his face that the truck was carrying, almost completely blinding him and also giving him the power, as he grows older, to beat up pretty much anybody. Also to hear, touch, taste and smell better than most non-superheroes to make up for his lack of sight. Once Murdock and Foggy became Karen Page lawyer, they’ve been trying to investigate on her case. Foggy thinks that they shouldn’t really take anything considering the fact that the evidence stacked against her. Meanwhile Murdock wonders why they haven’t charged her with such overwhelming evidence. He thinks something else is going on. He thought right. While Karen was in prison she had been attacked by someone that was working for the assassins but thankfully she had self-defense and was not killed. After that Murdock and Foggy convinced the guards to release Karen due to their lack of security. Karen reveals her tale about how she happened to receive and email that wasn’t for her. The email reveals a pension fund with a lot of money that isn’t exactly a pension fund if you know what I mean, (criminal stuff). Murdock was still suspicious because how come the first time when she was with Daniel Fisher she didn’t get killed but the second time she almost was? Unless she still has the file, which she denied. She was welcomed to Murdock’s house to stay for the night and she took advantage at the fact that he is blind, so she snuck out to her old apartment where she kept the file hidden.
