The celebrity lifetime story that intrigue me is MICHAEL JACKSON. He was born MICHAEL JOSEPH JACKSON in August 29 1958 in Gary Indiana. His parents were Jo and Kathrine Jackson. Michael Jackson had 7 siblings named RANDY, JANET, MARLON, TITO, JACKIE, LATOYA and JERMAINE . He engaged in music at a very young age and founded the Jackson 5 alongside his siblings Marlo, Jermaine, Jackie and Tito . Michael Jackson turned out to be the break out star of the group and went on to pursue a solo career in 1971 and sure enough he didn’t disappoint. By 1980’s MICHAEL JACKSON had achieve great success with his songs and his music videos like THRILLER that top the chart for 37 weeks , BEAT IT, and BILLIE JEAN. In the outside Michael Jackson look like a person who achieved tremendous success musically and was living his dreams but what his fans didn’t know is that the king of pop was fighting is own demons behind close doors. Michael Jackson physical appearance started to change in 1979 when he release his fifth album untitled OFF THE WALL. Fans can visibly see that the pop star appearance has change particularly his nose look more slimmer, speculations had that the king of pop went under the knife and got a rhinoplasty at only the age of 21. It was later reported that he had the procedure due to an incident that broke his nose during one of his rehearsal. From that point on the king of Pop was never the same , it was the beginning of a tumultuous life time of plastic surgeries on his face. It seems like Michael Jackson was trying to achieve a level of satisfaction in his life that he lack musically even though he was an icon . Clearly something was going missing in his life and he probably tried to fill the void by having multiple surgery one after the another . As time past everybody can see that Michael had completely changed , he was barely recognizable. His skin had completely change . Michael probably saw a very ugly person when it looked himself in the mirror. He underwent more than 30 plastic surgeries through out his lifetime. It was clear that the king of pop had issues with his appearances that were beyond his control. Anybody in their right mind wouldn’t put themselves through all this pain. His physical flaws became debilitating to him and consume his life and that’s a behavior that usually people with body dysmorphic disorder experience. No matter how much people tell them how beautiful they are, they still see themselves as ugly or not attractive . Body dysmorphic disorder can be compare to obsessive compulsive disorder (ocd) and eating disorder because even though they are different diseases they cause a lot of anxiety to the individuals resulting in routines and compulsives behaviors. The rest of us can have an imperfection and not obsess about it but a person dealing with body dysmorphic disorder can not help themselves, they can not shake out the idea and the thoughts about what is wrong with them .
