In the automobile industry, Crash Test[1] is an experiment conducted by car manufacturers to enhance safety for passengers. In such tests, an accelerometer, and a force sensor are usually used. These devices allow experimenters to collect relevant data, such as the acceleration of the car, the velocity upon impact, the time of impact, the forces applied on the vehicle and the dummy. The data collected from these tests will be used to improve the design of the vehicle, as well as the details on the airbag, which is a shock absorber installed in cars.
