“The Big Bang Theory is science’s best explanation of how the universe was created.” -Michael Anissimov. When us humans start to wonder, theres no stopping them. “Originally developed in the late 1920s by Georges-Henri Lemaître. Lemaître was the first to realize that a continuously expanding universe implies that at some point in the past the universe must have been much denser and smaller, even atom-sized.” - Micheal Anissimov. Very smart man. Quite interesting things would occur if all of this was confirmed. Their might be wars between religions, so i think even if it is proved the government would just keep it a secret to prevent that from happening.
The new possibilities opened up in 1915, when Einstein formulated his famous general relativity theory that describes the nature of space, time, and gravity. This theory allows for expansion or contraction of the fabric of space. Which sounds completely reasonable, no? In 1917, astronomer Willem de Sitter applied this theory to the entire universe and boldly went on to show that the universe could be expanding. People like this is what we need, inspiration, for the future generations of bright minds. By 1930, other cosmologists, including Eddington, Willem de Sitter, and Einstein, had concluded that the static (non-evolving) models of the universe they had worked on for many years were unsatisfactory. Furthermore, Edwin Hubble, using the world’s largest telescope at Mt. Wilson in California, had shown that the distant galaxies all appeared to be receding from us at speeds proportional to their distances.
In 1948, Gamow predicted that the radiation from the big bang nucleosynthesis must still be filling the universe. The universe expanding can branch of to even more theories......

More reasonable funding material = more sense more sense = more easy to explain things. The world would be that much more peaceful. The wars caused by religions would more or less fade away. That means less death, which can and more than likely would lead to a happier world. Although trying to figure out life mystery, such as this, can drive us insane, something keeps telling me it will be done. We will unlock all of life's mystery, I just know it. Starting with this one, just a little more and amazing things will happen. Everytime we say that we're that much closer to finding the truth. How much longer will it take? Is this all really possible? Can this really all happen? The answers are unsure but only time can tell us. All we average people must do is wait.
In the last hundred years we have made enormous progress in studying not our galaxy but ones billions of light-years away. Only a few hundred years ago our world seemed so big that there were areas of the world that had never been charted and people believed that the Earth was flat (and yes for some reason a few people still believe that today). If we continue to make progress at thus rate the universe will actually begin to seem smaller because of how much more we might know.

Edwin Hubble supported Georges Lemaitre’s ideas as it fitted in with his own observations. While he were charting the galaxies he discovered that they were moving away from Earth at a high speed and time was expanding in all directions. He was able to track the movement of remote galaxies and other systems due to a phenomena known as Doppler shifts. However Hubble miscalculated and his data calculated that the sun was older than the Universe. Later Allan Sandage recalculated Hubble’s data and proved to the world that the Universe was older than first proposed. Planets, stars and galaxies only make up 4% of the Universe, the remaining 96% is unknown or unexplored territory. According to NASA there is a dark energy that is making the Universe expand and accelerate at a bigger rate than it did years ago . There are many galaxies apart from out Milky Way that are moving further and further away. Scientist like Stephen Hawkins believe that our Universe is just a small part and that many other Universes exist. According to Hawkins we live in a multiverse. He believes that there are more than 100 billion galaxies, each with 100 billion stars.
It is clear that we would need further evidence and advances in physics before it will be remotely possible to know the fate of our universe. Scientists now think, and mostly agree with each other that the fate of the universe depends on three main things: the overall shape or geometry of the universe, how much dark energy it contains, and on the “equation of state”; which determines how the density of dark energy responds to the expansion of the universe.

During ancient times religion was the stiff spine that bound the book together, but as we have evolved so has our reliance on religion from what it once was. The earliest interpretation of our world was an archaic concept that biblical writers in Israel thought that the earth was flat and at the center of the universe. Consider the fact that there even is a rigorous debate about such concepts. This indicates that our current understanding of the nature of the universe is incorrect. Namely, our current explanations of physics on a cosmological scale, specifically pertaining to gravity, are somehow incomplete and/or lacking. A more complete understanding of these concepts will either expose erroneous concepts currently held as truth, or add to humanity’s current understanding of the nature of the cosmos, or both. Along the way, the scientific process of research and investigation will yield insights that will undoubtedly have unforeseeable influences on our society. Questions will likely be addressed in disciplines ranging from philosophy and religion, i.e., the nature of the origins of the universe and of existence, all the way to modern computing and optics technology, e.g., the new technologies being developed to make research into these areas of cosmology and astronomy possible that will likely benefit society at large through technological innovation and advancement.
For thousands of years it was believed that our Universe was finite. In 1920, The Great Debate, also called the Shapley-Curtis Debate happened in Washington where Shapley argued that our Milky Way was the only galaxy in the Universe and Curtis argued that there were many other galaxies in the Universe but none of the opponents had any concrete evidence to prove their respective theories. However, in 1929 Edwin Hubble provided observational evidence from which he concluded that there was millions of galaxies in the Universe beside our Milky Way Galaxy. And in the process of discovering, he also found out that our Galaxy was in fact expanding! The public formation of the Great Debate influenced the ways ideas were presented and it ultimately lead to the trajectory of the Debate. This paper argues why Shapley believed that there is only one Galaxy and how Edwin Hubble proved him wrong with his discovery of the expanding Universe. From this discovery, we came to realize that at some point in the past, our Universe was very small, probably a tiny dot, then after the Big Bang, it started expanding. This was a big discovery, which changed the history of Physics. At the end, the paper also discusses - if our Universe will continue to expand or is there a limit?
The big bang theory states that the universe began by expanding from an infinitesimal volume with extremely high density and temperature. It was initially smaller than the head of a pin. The theory states that space was created at the same time as the big bang and expanded carrying matter with it. Many physicists believe even time began with the big bang. The evidence supporting the big bang was so great that in 1951, the Catholic Church declared the big bang model to comply with the Bible.
The big bang theory is an attempt to explain how the world began. The big bang theory begins with what is called a “singularity.” This term is used to describe an area in space which defies all the known laws of physics. Singularities are thought to exist at the core of black holes. Black holes are areas of intense gravitational pressure. The pressure is thought to be so intense that matter is pressed together into an infinite amount of pressure. The dense hot mass of the singularity slowly expanded. This process is called inflation. As the singularity expanded the universe went from dense and hot to cool and expansive. Inflation is still continuing on today which means that the universe is continually expanding.
This is probably the greatest discovery imaginable; however, the universe still seems to be a very controversial subject.
