Greetings Beloved,
the Bible says: "For I know the plans I have for you, plans for your good and not for evil, plans to give you a future and a hope..." (Jeremiah 29:11).
We have come to the beginning of another year’s journey as we begin this conference year; we must be specific about having a plan for our ministry. Every Captain sets a way-point before setting sail on the high seas, we too must plan and chart a course for our beloved church New Creation.
Our ultimate goal is to save souls for Christ that mean everyone that is a member of the body of Christ and a part of the New Creation family must ask yourself what is it that God wants me to do for the Kingdom. Sometime we are not quite sure, but that doesn’t mean we cannot carve out work that is both effective, meaningful and helpful toward moving the church forward.

We cannot do anything without a team of staff and faithful members. We as the church must unify and come together around this single mission: to reach more souls with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Please understand I am not your normal Pastor. I am committed first to God and next seeing you grow in your faith. As you grow we want to encourage other to grow. I agree with Kitchens, Mead, and Roxburgh who all basically say in their own way that one change in ministry that we need to focus on more is the congregational life of the church. However, I think Mead explains it best when he says that the future church must be more intentional in the spiritual formation of its laity (Mead, location 919). According to Mead, the church is moving towards becoming a more missional institution that cares for the needs of the community. Therefore, oftentimes laity will be the ones on the front lines and will need the capacity to minister to people on their own without the help of clergy. With that said, the time has come at OGBC to manage the inevitable transition of welcoming a new pastor. The researcher is an associate minister at OGBC and recognized the need for developing a transition plan to help her church to transition well. Transition is the process of letting go of the ways things used to be and then holding on of the way they subsequently become. William Bridges identifies a place in between the transition process called the “neutral zone”. Bridges suggests that while in the neutral zone people resist the transition because it takes longer (often much longer) than change, and it leaves us in this zone while a replacement reality and a new reality is gradually being formed. The researcher’s church was in the neutral zone for three years until they finally selected a new pastor. The NCCA is 15 Christian churches, gathered from across Australia, who have embarked on a pilgrimage together . Each brings a widely diverse record of place, experience, and theology, but all share a mutual faith and confession in the Jesus Christ as God and Savior. “Reaching Out without Dumbing Down” seems to be constructed for the church leader, elder, or pastor who is considering altering their current, historic worship style for a more modern one that may attract greater numbers of unsaved people. She provides excellent standards to help Pastors and Worship Leaders plan, execute, and evaluate worship services. These same standards provide a great opportunity to educate the church family on the reasons behind the use of certain worship elements. Although written for church leadership, the everyday church member would also benefit from understanding the very concepts that Dawn is directing at God-empowered leaders.

The other night at our Volunteer Christmas party, I introduced you to my husband Kirk to you and I committed to my husband you had met our son Kody, you referred to Kody as a “Church boy”. My husband and I both laugh, But the truth is, I could not stop thinking about why I introduced him to you, and John Bishop, and many other Elevators. It’s because who he has become and Elevation -Pastor Furtick has had 100% effect on my son and I credit GOD and Elevation for where he is today. My son had an opportunity to meet Pastor Furtick last summer and talk with him and express the impact his decision to do into ministries was because of his influence.
The common goal of Christianity is to spread faith and good morals, and we give inspiration. We try to be a good influence in the world and try to make an impact on people lives. Ministry is messy, filled with many dichotomies that that can sabotage a minister’s effectiveness. Can a minister be entrepreneurial while being a good steward? Can a ministry grow and still be healthy? How does the business of ministry and culture of the church coexist? How do ministries remain ethical while maintain the business of ministry? These are the questions that pastors face and must answer correctly in order to be effective.
That purpose is to go and tell others about the saving grace of Jesus Christ. This purpose has challenged me over the years to get outside my comfort zone and do this very thing. I’ve been to multiple places across the United States, and even to the other side of the world. It is evident that, no matter the location, the power of the Jesus is the same. It has been such a humbling and life changing experience to witness people come to the same realization I had; the fact that Jesus is alive and can transform any life. My relationship with Christ has given me a new purpose, and it has overflowed into every aspect of my life. I strive everyday, no matter the situation, to seek out opportunities to show the love of Christ I have experienced. This is important. We aren't lone wolves, we can't do this alone. You need mentors, you need friends, you need family. The body of Christ is a good family to have. Stay plugged into a good Church.
From the time of the creation of God’s Kingdom and the earth until present day in the eternal life, God has intended for His people to live as full human beings in order to live a fulfilled life, and a life of salvation and redemption through His son Jesus Christ. Through living the eternal life and living within God’s Kingdom, the anticipation of the return of Christ and the beginning of the New Heaven and the New Earth is what Christians are currently living for and anticipating. New Heaven and New Earth are both goals Christians work towards through their faith in Christ, along with the anticipation and work towards the eschatological goal as we work and live towards the future and end result, while some aspects of life will continue and some will discontinue in the New Heaven and the New Earth. While the New Heaven and New Earth is an opportunity to refresh our spirituality and redeem ourselves in a spiritual way through the work of the Holy
For me the next steps are full time pastoral ministry. God willing, I will have a congregation of my own. I look forward to the pastorate because in my heart I know that is where I think the most transformative and world changing aspects of my ministry will occur. I look forward to awakening people’s lives with the Gospel. I look forward to joining a community and growing in faith together. I am excited because God has anointed me to preach good news. And the good news is this; all of God’s children have a stake in God’s transformational work. We are all anointed to preach good news. It is time to get ready.
Many people have a stage in their life when they stop for a moment and think “what am I here to do?”. For me that stage in life had arrived a long time ago. I was about fourteen years old, I felt alone, I felt scared, but most of all I felt useless I didn't know in what direction my life was going. I kept asking the Lord to show me, to lead me to what he wants me do to and to shape me into who he wants me to be. When I say purpose most people think about the career I want to have, while having a career is important to me. I feel like that still doesn't complete my purpose. I want to do more for us, for humanity, for our future. I believe my ultimate purpose in life is to help people in need of attention and affection. I think that the Lord has put me through difficult obstacles in life so that I could help the people that went through or are going through the same things that I have left in my past. My motivation for doing this is first of all is knowing that this is what God wants me to do, and knowing that he is blessing me. And then of course is helping the people, seeing their smiles and telling them that they are not alone and that I understand them. And will help them with whatever I can. What I do to achieve my purpose is that I go to many centers, and meet people, mostly children that have been through any kind of abuse.
