The use of technology in our society has gone from being a not so necessary thing to a normal everyday thing in life to be able to get through the day. Before modern technology came in place, interactions were more common as a face to face session. While now with all of this technology being developed every second, the social interactions are turning more into a message, email, and a voice call. Everyone now in time owns any form of technical device. With the use of all of these devices the benefits from a face to face conversation are being deprived. Our culture needs to include more face to face social interactions in everyday life rather than communicating through a device. A face to face social interaction provides many benefits. This is a good practice of being able to work with the attention span a person has. According to a recent Microsoft consumer study the attention span of an average human is around 8 secs, lower than the attention span of goldfish. There are young children that tend to do indecently on their test scores for the fact that their attention span is very short. Having that early interaction of one to one communication can lead to a better outcome of test scores. When messaging, a person can send a quick message to someone and then focus on what they were doing and then later return to the message and have a written form of what was said. But in a face to face interaction there are many parts of the brain working to remember and sort everything out that is being said and what is going to be said. In a face to face encounter the person can feel that they are being heard and listened to instead of just knowing that the message was sent, was just read with really not too much attention put into
