A lot of people in the world immigrate to the United States to find their own American Dream, Freedom, Wisdom. The American dream gives immigrates the opportunity of a life time. They get to push their own limits. Achieve their personal goals in life that they wanted to do. The American Dream term means, “Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” (Declaration of Independence1). This shows that this is a dream of most of the Americans strive for and are built for. Some people don’t understand the term of The American Dream. Most people don’t realize how long ago it originated, or the true meaning. In some books, some of the authors state other things. For example, the known author Thurlow Adams in his Book, Adam States that “The American Let’s say you had goals and you didn’t have the freedom to do it in your country that you lived in. “A good example will be in the life of Philip Maun, the CEO of Hash Sushi, Maun immigrated to America from his home country of Burma with only $13 and the dream of a new improved life for him and his family.” (business News3) This proves that The American Dream must do with the concept of achieving something huge in your life. Philip Maun, started off with $13 and lived in a poor country. He moved to the United States, and now he is making millions of dollars. This small anecdote is a perfect example of how the American Dream is sometimes successful. Here’s another example by Philip Maun, “Maun came to the United States as a poor immigrant, but had the determination to change his financial status for the better of himself and his family. “We had very little money, but very big dreams” (business News3) This shows that even if you are poor, and you can’t do anything, all you must do is dream big and dream positive. The American Dream is a huge deal to a lot of people, more like the whole world. You can change someone’s life by sending out from a bad country to America, and they can succeed in their life like with a snap of a finger. This opportunity cannot be missed by the people. The American dream is the right of equal opportunity and success for all. It is the freedom everyone in America must pursue their individual hopes and dreams and to lead rich, full, lives. Even if you come to America as a poor immigrant, you can still can climb the corporate ladder or even become the CEO of your own company. The achievement of the American dream almost always comes down to your own determination and willingness to work as hard as you can towards your goals.
