In the real world today, technology has advanced extremely that we do not notice it. With this technology, we have a problem which is people are addicted to electronics such as their phone. The majority of people today uses technology to find information or to chat with a friend. One addiction that people have is texting and driving, which can harm to people and yourself. Also, people do not realize what health problems it can cause. Even though technology is helpful to us, it can also cause trouble to us. We need to limit our technology use to help prevent these causes. Every day, people will be on their phones texting, calling people, and surfing the web. When they are doing this, they can cause trouble. One issue is that people are texting and driving at the same time. Texting and driving is a dangerous action to do and it can cause harm to yourself and others. There are many car accidents due to texting and driving. Also, there are many deaths from people due to this action. In the past, “there have been 341,000 motor vehicle crashes in 2013 that involved texting” (Schumaker). People are not looking what is happening in the real world. They are being hypnotized on what is going on their phone which must be stopped because it is causing danger to others. …show more content…

In the Huffington Post, they did research on what being on your phone can do. Looking at your phone greatly could strain your eyes to get worse, which can cause blindness (Holmes). When you cannot see well, you always have to wear glasses just to do everyday occupations such as reading or driving. Also, they said that being on your device may wreck your spine (Holmes). Your spine can be injured by bending down so you can see your device. Being on your phone can make you lose some opportunities and make you have some health
