Since I was a young girl, I have always aspired to be someone who lifts people up and positively impacts my community. Throughout the past few years, I have taken on several different leadership roles through organizations that I have participated in. The skills I have developed from these roles has given me the opportunity to grow into the inspiring woman I used to dream of within my school, with my friends, and with my family.

Being a leader can be really scary. Everything you do and say is being watched by someone if not many people. Every time I turn around someone has something to either scrutinize about my choices or admire them. Living in today's society is harder than ever. This has been something that has truly helped me grow as a leader in my different organizations. The most influential organization I am apart of is the Texas FFA Association. I am currently in a leadership position that gives me not only the opportunity to have my chapter looking up to me, but the entire state of Texas; the potential of about 112,000 students. Everyday knowing that number, I remain as positively impacting as I can for the students. There are many people who I am friends with through the organization and they are always reminding me how grateful they are to have me here for them when they need someone to express themselves to without judgement, and that's a great feeling to have.
