Team Meeting Reflection

A team meeting was held at Quality Care & Autism Center on 5/6/18. In attendance was, Andrew, this counselor, and Natasa and Tina, who run the center and are Andrew's managers. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss some concerns that have been brought up regarding his performance.

To start the meeting, Tina explained to Andrew the reason for the meeting. She informed Andrew that some issues have been brought to her attention and she called this meeting to review them, as well as, to discuss if a plan can be put into place for mending the issues.

The employer would like him to complete the task without complaints to the best of his ability. More effective coping strategies for this will be discussed with Andrew and this counselor at a later time. An example that was given includes: complaining while cleaning and leaving streaks on windows.

* Unprofessional behavior- Andrew has been caught acting unprofessional in the workplace on several occasions. For example- when a co-worker was trying to redirect him and show him the appropriate way to complete a task he stated, " you suck as a teacher." Andrew denied doing this and was very upset by the allegation. Management and Andrew could not agree on this topic, so this counselor explained that she would provide further guidance and counseling to Andrew on this topic after the meeting. Everyone agreed.

* Other- A few other complaints that were mentioned, are that Andrew has issues with transferring calls, multi-tasking, and using the patient sign in sheet. This counselor agreed to update his task list and see if any other accommodations can be provided for him to be successful. Job coaching was brought up on multi occasions and declined every time by
