First of all the Green Knight symbolized the nature and how nature takes its play into others life’s. Moreover though Sir Gawain is knight who is brave and does not give in to temtation.The protagonist Sir Gawain is brave and courageous and also loyally to his king. Furthermore he is very trust worthy. In this novel the protagnist’s goal is to reach a green chapel because he accepted the Green Knights challenge. So as the writer this was choosen because Sir Gawain shows so much decation to his king to take on the green knight’s challenge.

In addition Sir Gawain has so much curouge that when the queen came to give him a kiss he stopped her because of the temptations. She temtemted him by going to his chambers 3 nights in a row and try to get him to seduce her. At the end of the 3rd night she gave Sir Gawain a neckless. Then Sir Gawain just accepted one of the temptations. He had done this because she had told him it can make him live forever so he told her that “his life in no way in the world could be taken” (73) which shows the reader oughtn’t not take it. But after words he changes his mind and takes it because she told if he whore it he would not die. …show more content…

Also how nature can be very aggressive like strong winds and heavy rains. The green Knight also symbolizes nature because this shows that nature is always one step ahead of humans and how the green knight challenges symbols wildlife’s wraith. Again how it changes peoples way so they think differently. Also the Green knight’s challenges show how when he offered a chance to people are afraid go up aginst nature. In other words this also proves how “bold sir, for towards you none here has acted unhandsomely” (79) which means that this goes to show how brave one person can be to accept wild life’s challenges.
