What I learnt and appreciated from the conference was the talk by Dr. Thomas Oord, “Does evolution make morality an illusion”. Dr. Oord starts stating that the sense of right and wrong is linked to God and that God is the creator of the universe. In the bible the story of Adam and Eve represents God telling man to something that man disobeyed. When God created the universe, he created Adam and Eve and from a specific tree in the garden and man was disobeyed Gods orders and ate the fruits from the tree and God punished man. God is the ground foundation of good and evil for example in the Ten Commandments man is instructed to live in a certain way because God wants us to obey his orders.

Humans are programmed machines to do everything in its power to produce copies of genes which live inside us. Group selection are groups with altruist out complete on groups of agonists. Group selection theory explains why some individuals act self-sacrificially for those whom they are closely related genetically. The problem with group selection does not support universal love but instead it supports in-group and out group altruism. The Christian ways of practice morality is equal to one of the greatest commandment “love thy neighbour”. Many people do not need God to perform adequate need for morality for example atheist are believe in evolutionary and that they don’t need God to show morality.
There are various problems of evil for example if God is able to do absolutely anything ,God would be able to prevent any genuine evil occurrence for example the forever un ending war that happening today where by human are
