As students, we believe that we have certain unalienable rights and they are being violated by the school systems in this country. We deserve a fair chance to be developed into who we want to be. That our education is not dictated by laws, but by the efforts that we put into it. We also believe that our learning should be based upon skills we will actually need in our futures. A part of growing as a person is making our own decisions and mistakes, and the school system should be promoting all of our options equally. They have made it so that the due dates they set are often strenuous for the student, and require large amounts of work outside of school in order to meet them.

so sometimes they are surprised when things like concerts or assemblies occur.
They do not give students the chance to learn real life skills. Only recently have students been given the opportunity to learn personal finance. However, other critical life skills that are provided in home economics classes aren't being offered anymore.
They do no give students the opportunity to take classes that are focused on their future careers. Students are stuck taking classes that don't relate to anything in their futures.
They do not allow bathroom breaks to be taken by students whenever they feel the need to go to the restroom, and they shouldn’t have to ask the teachers. High school students know when the appropriate time is to use the restroom.
They shouldn’t be worrying about my life outside of school grounds, and they shouldn't try to dictate my habits and lifestyle when I’m not in school.
They try to promote colleges as the route to go as far as getting a career, but they should also promote trade schools
