On the Labor Day edition of the Stone Cold Podcast live in Baltimore, Maryland, Stone Cold Steve Austin sits down with the legendary team of Edge and Christian exclusively on the WWE Network. Before getting into the tough questions, the three superstars caught up with each other. Stone Cold would ask them about where they were at since retirement. Edge and Christian reveal that they had daughters only six weeks apart. Edge talks about residing in North Carolina and Christian talks about residing in Florida. Both explain that one of the main reasons they moved away from Canada was because of the cold temperature. Hayes, Gangrel, and the WWE Chairman, Vince McMahan. Michael Hayes was a huge influence on them. Austin talks about when he went to see Hayes years ago. He talks about how well Hayes did as a heel. Edge adds on that to be a good heel, you got to believe in what you’re saying. They also talk briefly about the Brood. When it came to Vince McMahon, Edge talked about the conversation with Vince that lead to his retirement. Austin then ask what you can take away from Vince McMahon. To Christian, Vince’s dedication and worth ethic was infectious and it trickled down. Finally, the discussion get’s towards the end. Austin ask Edge about his reaction to being in the Hall of Fame. Edge knew it would happen, but he was still surprised. He thought it was pretty quick to be inducted into the Hall of Fame after a year into retirement. Christian says that he was excited for Edge and that he deserves it. Austin then asked Christian if he thinks he should be in the Hall of Fame. Christian says yes, but it wasn’t up to him.
