Stephen Hawking
Intro
Have you ever looked up at the sky and wondered why were are here in this very spot in space? If you're anything like the brilliant and curious mind of Stephen Hawking, then you have. He has always wanted to find the mysteries of space and the physics of our universe. But if his achievements aren't already astonishing, he also has a disease called ALS. Through his disabilities, Stephen Hawking has affected and discovered many new facts and theories about Black Holes, space and our universe that continue to impact researchers and knowledge today.
Stephen Hawking has not only affected the world of science and space but given people with ALS or other disabilities hope that they can still learn and affect the world. His achievements are even more amazing

Not only has he made many discoveries that will save the world millions of dollars, but he has also gained fame and money off of his books and essays. Stephen Hawking, along with other great scientists such as Roger Penrose have written many successful books. Other than writing books, he has appeared in 6 films, not even mentioning all the commercials and advertisements he has been in. Dr. Hawking has also made many new space discoveries that most scientists would not be able to believe. Throughout his successful career 5 out of the 16 awards he have received are the Pius XI Gold Medal for Science, the Hughes Medal, Albert Einstein Award, Copley Medal of the Royal Society and the U.S. Presidential Medal of Freedom. Stephen Hawking, unlike many people, wants to understand and find the mysteries of the world. One of his biggest accomplishments was being rewarded with the Lucasian Professorship chair in mathematics. Once held by Isaac Newton at the University of Cambridge. He has inspired thousands of people to work through their struggles and achieve
Hawking is still alive and has been living with his disease for fifty-two years now (“Stephen Hawking Biography”, n.d.). In doing research as to how Hawking has been able to live so long with this disease, I came to the conclusion that there is not a reason. An article written by Terrence McCoy (2015) in the Washington Post described his lengthy life as “extraordinary” and “extremely rare”. This is further indication that his interminable existence is supported by pure luck. What an incredible coincidence that such an important man was able to withstand the consequences of a highly fatal disease. Stephen Hawking, the Hawking family, and the rest of the world are, whether they know it or not, thankful for this one man’s extreme luck. His contributions to scientific knowledge and his perseverance will be forever

There are few cultural icons as well known and beloved as Stan Lee. As the editor-in-chief of Marvel Comics he created or co-created some of the most popular comic book characters of all time. We all know Spider-Man. Iron Man. The X-Men. The Fantastic Four. The Avengers. The Hulk. Black Panther. The list goes on. We also recognize him from his numerous cameo appearances in the Marvel movies.
Like the boundaries on earth, mankind has always looked to the sky in awe for it seemed boundless in its ever growing horizon. Out of all the cosmos that’s being found and discovered every day, there is one object that stands to elude scientists still, the black hole. Albert Einstein, and all the brilliant scientists after his, help to design and create a part of the universe that’s very crucial to understanding existence. The perimeters of a black hole have been a great this that has been discussed and observed to the point where it eventually becomes clear as its compared to objects around or like it. The physics of the black holes existence is still unclear for it shows properties that support Einstein’s theory and quantum mechanics, but at the same time breaks them both.
Art is an imitation of nature and the features or symbol of imaginative skill in the mind. It is characteristically in a pictorial form such as portrayal, imagery, or fabricating, monument work to be cherished primarily used for exquisiteness or expressive power. Bruce Nauman, Kerry James Marshall, Maya Lin, and Louise Bourgeois demonstrate their artwork and their inspiration behind their work.
Nikola Tesla was a Serbian American inventor, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer and physicist. He was also considered an eccentric genius and recluse. Tesla is best known for his feud with Thomas Edison over AC power Versus DC Power. He was also well known for inventing the Tesla Coil which is still used in radio technology today. Nikola Tesla was mostly forgotten until the 1990’s when there was a resurgence of interest in popular culture.
Bruce Nauman is one of the most distinguished, powerful, and multitalented American artists of the 20th and 21st centuries. Although, his work is not easily defined by its mediums, techniques, or theses, its figure is central to the artwork. His art channels Post-Minimalism, as it blends ideas from Conceptualism, Minimalism, performance art, and video art. The widened interest in Marcel Duchamp in the 60s obviously influenced Nauman. From Nauman’s wordplay to the infusion of mockery and ludicrous tone, Duchamp’s influence is quite evident.
I have chosen two of them who were in many ways just opposites. One is extremely famous and the other is almost unknown except to specialists. The most famous is of course Albert Einstein. He has significantly altered our view of the world with his Theory of Relativity.
Carl Sagan is known as one of the most famous scientists of all time. He revolutionized how the world looked at space and the search for intelligent life beyond our planet. The author of many books, he is most known for Contact (which was adapted into a movie) and for the PBS documentary Cosmos. As one of America's most famous astronomers and science-fiction writers, Carl Sagan turned a life of science into one of the most critically successful scientific careers of the 20th century.
Elon Musk has greatly contributed and advanced the worlds of science and technology.
Stephen Hawking has been hailed as one of the most brilliant theoretical physicists since Albert Einstein. Hawking was born on January 8, 1942, which as he likes to point out is the 300th anniversary of Galileo's death. Hawking originally studied at Oxford University in England studying physics even though he would have preferred math. He moved onto Cambridge University to work on his PhD in cosmology. Hawking's career has focused upon the cosmic entities known as black holes, and has extended to specialized areas such as quantum gravity, particle physics, and supersymmetry.
There is no such thing as a “born leader”. Human, animals, trees, and all of other living things survive and develop by earning and acquiring information needed. Nothing could receive the current position or status from an automatic mode.
The article “Books of the Times- Many Universes in Stephen Hawking’s Grand Design.” by Dwight Garner, talks about Scientist Stephen Hawking’s most recent book “The Grand Design”. Dwight Garner (2010) gives you some background on Hawking’s previous work noting that it was a best seller and explaining what the book is about. Dwight Garner (2010) explains how during his long career Hawking has never shown any type of religious preference affecting his work and writing. Even his former wife described him to be atheist.
