Introduction The modern society has a high rate of using technology devices including computers and smartphones. Notably, the development of the smartphone that are available at different prices to meet common requirements has played a significant part in reshaping the use of technology in the society (Gargiulo, 2015). Importantly, the use of smartphones is high across the population with the young adults aged between 18 and 24 being the highest users. In this case, the arithmetic mean is important in determining the average usage of smartphone among different age groups. Specifically, this is achievable by dividing the number of participants with the number of individuals with a smartphone. Importantly, these findings are essential in demonstrating the rate of smartphones in each age group. Standard Deviation The standard deviation is a measure that determines the spread of data around the mean. Specifically, the value of the standard deviation provides information on the dispersion of data from the average. Therefore, this is important in determining the brand preferences of the population (Morse & Niehaus, 2009). Regression The regression model demonstrates the relationship between the dependent and explanatory variables. It indicates whether the relationships are strong or weaker based on the charter on a scatterplot (Morse & Niehaus, 2009). Also using the smartphone will bring some illness for our body, such as cervical spondylitis. As evaluation of the data, I think I still need improve some skills on statistics. Such as I need to collect a lot of data about the every age of people who using the smartphone, and the process is not easy because I need to ask the people who is walking on the road and not every people will tell me the answer. So I think I need to improve this in the future study, and if I can’t find anything statistically insignificant, I need to collect more data about my
