The entire setting of St. George Island is peaceful and serene. There are no high-rise buildings in the area, so it truly gives visitors a chance to get away from the stresses that plague everyday life. George Island State Park
St. George Island State Park is located the far eastern end of the island. When you visit this state park, you will be treated to nine miles of undeveloped shoreline, majestic dunes, a bay forest, and salt marshes. The state park also has hiking trails, boardwalks, and observation platforms for visitors to enjoy. As recently as 2011, the beach at this state park was ranked as one of the best beaches in the country. The beach at this state park is also a particularly good site for birding, as there are several species of migratory birds that stop at the island on their way south or north for the season.
Loggerhead Sea Turtles
This area of Florida is famous for its Loggerhead Sea Turtles. In the late spring, these spectacular creatures dig nests and lay eggs on the beach. At night, the young hatchlings come out and crawl to the ocean. It is a spectacular sight to see if you are lucky enough to catch it. However, it is important to stay a safe distance away and avoid interfering with them. Also, the hatchlings can become easily confused by artificial light, so if you visit during the hatching season, be sure to remove all of your belongings from the beach every night and use artificial outdoor lights only when

There are a lot of events that have happened on the island that have led up to what we know today. Six people have already died looking for the treasure, but the legend says seven must die before the treasure can be found. Since more is being found on the island than ever before, many people think the risk is worth the reward.

I got dazzled once again by the beauty of St. Martin. St. Martin is undoubted a special place for vacation and one of the most beautiful islands in the world. Among all the places I have visited, it is the most unique. If anybody asks me about a vacation spot, the first thing that comes up in my mind is St. Martin. This is not for it is in my country but for its explicit natural beauty, social environment and the facilities available there.
