For the project I choose three hearty meals to fill up six peoples’ rumbling stomachs. The appetizer i chose was spinach balls. This uncomplicated appetizer was not difficult to make, but at the same time, could taste great. For the main course I chose black bean burgers making sure they were spicy. I have made this a few times already and knew the basic steps already. This would make it easier for me to make three courses in time for dinner. Finally, I chose brownies as the desert because, who doesn’t like brownies? The spinach balls came with a simple recipe and few ingredients. It took me a little experimenting with the microwave in order to defrost the frozen spinach. I removed as much water as i could with my hands, later using a few paper towels to remove as much water as possible. Next, I grabbed a mixing bowl and put all the dry ingredients together. I then beat 3 eggs and put them, along with melted butter into the bowl and combined it with a fork, then my hands. When cutting the onions, I placed the board in the stovetop and turned the fan on. This helped reduce my tears while cutting by removing the gas that causes people's eyes to water. I put the onions into the hot oil first followed by peppers, potatoes, and garlic when the other vegetables started to brown. The test is to see if spinach leaves discs can be effected by photosynthesis. I predicted that more disc would float in the light than in the dark. After writing down my hypothesis, I put the discs in water on a petri dish and waited 15 minutes. I then recorded if the in the light were floating or not. I also found out that the disc will also change color when they are in the light or in the dark. The hypothesis is supported when the light does have more disc floating in the petri dish than the dark did. I also determined other things as well such as the the dependent and independent variables, and the control treatments. The independent variable is the amount of oxygen in the discs. Once their in the pot let them boil then you are going to go chop up some onions at least ½ cup so they can add some flavor to the bullet soup. After your done mixing the onions with the bullet soup you are going to need to get a clear cup along with milk, water, and flower.

Once everything is fully cooked remove it from the pot. Used the cooking water to blend the squash into a puree. For the best flavor pour the vegetables, the squash and the cooking liquid into the pot that cooked the meat. After that add parsley, thyme, and broken spaghetti. If there’s no spaghetti, you can substitute with macaroni. Let them all cook for about an hour or until tender. Once done combine meat with soup and enjoy. You can eat this soup with bread has a side dish.
