I believe that colonists should immigrate to the Southern Colonies. We, the Southern colonies, have a good economy, government, plentiful natural resources, nice climates, and a lot of agricultural land to farm on. We have plenty of supplies and land so you, the immigrating should move to the Southern Colonies. The Southern Colonies are made up of the states such as Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. We have a few natural lakes, rolling mountains to the west, and a sandy coastline, hilly coastal plains, forests, long rivers and swamp areas. The climate of the Southern colonies is perfect. When the colonists came to America there were already people there. Southern Colonists came from Northern Europe, British Isles, the Mediterranean, Africa, and the Caribbean. We have an abundant race of humans. The colonies such as, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina all have a royal government. Maryland has a proprietary government. The Plymouth settlement has a Royal Charter. The Southern Colonies also adopted Christianity. The Southern Colonies had many different jobs that people worked. Agriculture was a huge part in the economy. The farmers planted corn, wheat, grain, rice, cotton, fruit, tobacco, sticky maple to make pitch, and also raised livestock. Charlestown was the capital of South Carolina, it was the biggest city and was a busy trade center. *Georgia’s agriculture included sugar, rice, and indigo. There were also plantations in the Southern colonies. The plantations were worked by slaves. The farmer’s children only learned how to read and write if their parents taught them.
