Music is not something new, there are artists that come out with latest hits. But do they know the history behind the lyrics that they artists are throwing across. Do they know the history of that piece? There is the song “someday soon” that if researched and listen to, there is a story behind it along with it a history. Throughout the lyrics of the song “someday soon” the words “someday soon, goin’ with him someday soon”. So, the question “will she be with him someday soon” the answer is yes because along with those repeated lines, in the lyrics of “someday soon” it says, “I would follow him right down the roughest road I know” (7), or the line “so you blow, you old blue northern, blow my love to me” (11 and 17), which can only mean that she intends on being with him. Ian Tyson, who is he? Ian Tyson is a Canadian folk singer/songwriter, though he wasn’t one in the beginning. He was in the rodeo at first and it wasn’t until his injuries from the rodeo that he started to learn the guitar. He was in the band “great speckled bird” as well as the duo “Ian and Sylvia”.
