3. Socialization is what we call a way of understanding society; it is to study human behavior. But the difference is that socialization is a major factor it forms ways for us to become human with interacting with society, for example “the process by which we become aware of ourselves as a part of a group “ in other words socialization is based on how to come together developing ways to fit in with one another. The connection between nature and nurture they both have the same influence where we are mentally informed our learning becomes expanded but it is hard to separate. Both nature and nurture have much to do with the environment.

The difference between science and everyday knowledge is that with science your experimenting discovering these new ways to understand while everyday knowledge is listening and getting informed based on the research or what we hear on the news with brief information. Learning sociological research is important to understand the concepts of the following such as culture, socialization and human behavior what makes that so rare and fascinating to understand is it gives us ideas to realize what it means in the sociological matter. Contreras was trying to understand why crimes were committed what drove his volunteers Gus and Pablo to ruin their lives with the drugs and violence that was reached to another level that it took so much information and a lot of research to expand the situation. He wanted to know to what extent would these two individuals or basically individuals come to he made great points with his research based on the evidence shown in his book. Contreras used the method of social interaction and human behavior as his approach with his book the stick-up kids where it expanded his research. The benefits of course lead Contreras to study Gus and Pablo very closely hanging out with them tape recording every drug robbery and conversations about the next plan it made sense that what drove Gus and Pablo to complete destruction was just the hunger to be rich and become powerful. Although there was weaknesses to Contreras method he wondered where did he go wrong when he was in Gus and Pablo’s Shoes where everything had failed for him now seeing these two individuals blow up then Contreras ever had. This would interfere with his work not to mention that it revolved around Dominican young men it would expose him in the open with people not knowing he has most of their conversations in a tape recorder any body would feel threaten to not make a stupid move.
