Social justice is fairness in terms of the distribution of wealth, opportunities, and rights within a society, social justice refers to the extension of principles, preserved in our Constitution, of human dignity, equity, and freedom to participate in all of the political, socio-economic and cultural spheres of society. Classically, "justice" (especially corrective justice or distributive justice) ensured that individuals both fulfilled their societal roles, and received what was due from society. Its application ensures that there is equality among people in every aspect of society, rather than in the limited sense found in organization of law. In this theory Rawls argued that all social goods that are liberty and opportunity, income and wealth, and the bases of self-respect are to be distributed equally unless an unequal distribution of any or all of these goods is to the advantages of the least favoured (Rawls 1971). In this theory Rawls states that people should be treated equally no matter their sexuality, religion, political affiliations, age, race, belief, disability, location, social class, socioeconomic circumstances, or other characteristic of background or group membership, this means what benefit the Whites should also benefit the Blacks, Coloureds and other people in the same way. Social justice is defined as promoting a just society by challenging injustice and valuing diversity. It exists when all people share a common humanity and therefore have a right to equitable treatment, support for their human rights, and a fair allocation of community resources. In conditions of social justice, people are not to be discriminated against. A contract has been defined by my opponent as any voluntary agreement with consideration of an exchange for their mutual benefit.
